| Note* | | There is discussion as to whether Mary Meeks married both John Young andHenry Coonrod. Ann Fergot gives me a DOB of Aug 17, 1817 for her sonWilliam, if that date is correct, it would appear that the marriage toHenry Coonrod in 1812 would not be possible. Ann also informs me that shehas saw the year as 1810, that makes more sense to me in that she couldhave had one child a year after her first marriage, divorced and marriedagain to Henry Coonrod in 1812. I am going to change his year of birthto 1810. There are very large reports that show Mary Polly Meeks marryingHenry Coonrod in 1812 and raising a large family. Unfortunately, they donot show the parents for Mary to give us concrete proof that she is thecorrect one. The migration routes of Meeks & Coonrods followed oneanother though so I would say it is and am going to build on the MaryMeeks/Henry Coonrod line based upon the reports that I have. One reportthat I have is from a John Warstler found on Rootsweb World Connect andthe other is from a Wanda Irby found on Family Tree Maker's CD Vol 2,Tree #4750. Henry fought in the War of 1812 and the Blackhawk War.2 |
