| Note* | | The Eli Denney line was provided by William Denney of Vancouver, WA. Eli was a broom maker. He was living in Washington Township, Hamilton County, IN during the 1860and 1870 census. Per the 1870 census, he was blind and he could not reador write. In the 1880 Hamilton County, IN census, he was shown as blind, a broommaker and had 5 children living with him but no wife. He was living alone during the 1900 Westfield, Hamilton County, IN census. Eli was disowned by the Westfield Elk MM on March 4, 1858 for marryingout of unity. His wife Rachel was an invalid for more then 12 years before dying ofconsumption, she was buried in Westfield, Hamilton County, IN.2 |
