| Note* | | from 'Some Bakers' - No will has been found in Tyler County, West Virignia. After the death of Morris Baker's second wife Ann ?, he came to Tyler County, WV to live with his son John Dorsey Baker. In 1810. he was 79 years old and is listed in the Tyler County, WV Census under the household of John D. Baker. It is speculated that Morris must have died prior to 1820, as he doesn't show in the 1820 Tyler County, WV Census. -------------------------------- Robert Barnes book titled Baltimore County Families 1659-1759 lists Morris Baker's death date by 1820 in Tyler County.6 |
