Note* Susannah may have died of childbirth complications as her last childHenry was born in July 1844. She was granted a certificate by the Salem MM in Indiana to the Elk MM inPreble County, Ohio on Mar 16, 1839. They were living near Nathan Cook and Reuben Denney during the 1840 HenryCounty, Iowa census. The estate records for Phineas include a claim for unpaid services by a Jesse Harris (Doctor?) for medical attention prior to Susannah's death on Sep 1, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8. This appears to pinpoint her death date at about Sep 9, 1844. Heny Lamm and Eli Cook were appointed administrators of Phineas estate, Henry signed distributions of $441 from the estate to each of Phineas' children, John, Elizabeth and Henry on Feb 9, 1866. After the death of their parents, John and Henry went to live with their grandfather Eli Cook and Elizabeth was shown in the 1850 Henry County census as living with Isaac K. Cochran. Bill Denney gives 1814 year of birth for Phineas, Linda Brandt shows 1818.3
