| Note* | "SECOND GENERATION (2) Robert II and Elizabeth (Sutton) Bloomer Robert Jr. was a miIler born between 1671 and 1673. Baird stated that he was a constable in 1697, received "Bloomer's Island" in 1698, was a townsman from 1701 to 1711, erected a mill in 1707 and was trustee in 1718 and 1729. Reference has already been made to the deed he made with his brother John on 1 Feb 1714. He was a Surveyor of Rye on 15 October 1726. "Robert Bloomer yoeman, and Elizabeth sell land in Harrison in Rye to James Wetmore. On 6 April Robert and Robert Bloomer Jr. filed an affidavit concerning rent on land in John Richbell's patent [New York Secretary Calendar of Land Papers p. 196]. On 12 March 1738/39 Robert Jr. (II) filed a will, a very-important genealogical document for the Bloomer family. Robert II of Rye, miller, deeded to his grandson, Robert Bloomer IV, son of Robert Bloomer Jr., late of Rye, deceased, the house and land where his father lived. The land was bounded by a certain lot which I gave to my son Gilbert." Robert II would then have been in the neighborhood of 67 years of age. No record of him has been found after that date.
