(1) Robert and Rachel Bloomer. Robert (1634-1714?). Probably born in England about 1634 married (1) Rachel ca. 1670. He married (2) Sarah who was born in 1642. Between 1672 and 1684 Robert was living in Rye, Westchester Co., New York where he was a proprietor of Peningo Neck with Thomas Merritt. Robert is listed in a 1698 census and again with Sarah in a 1710 census living at New Rochelle, New York [The Record 1928 Vol. 59]. The 1698 census listed his name as "robart blumeart, with his wiff racheall blumeart." Robert probably died before 1714. In 1703 he granted his house and fields at Rye to his son Robert Jr. [Baird p. 397].
