Death*5 March 1951 Kansas City, Obituary states died of a lingering illness. Jones bible states death was on March 4 but newspaper states was at 15 minutes past midnight on the Monday morning of March 5. Another date in the same bible states April 1956 which is also apparently incorrect. No year is actually mentioned in the obituary so 1951 but brother Tommy who died in 1954 was listed as a lving brother. Morris-Sloan-Mathis Family History states Mar 14, 1951.4,5 
Burial*8 March 1951 Old Chariton Cemetery, Macon Co., MO, Cousin A.W. Grimshaw conducted. Per Enola, grave is unmarked.5,12 
Note*circa 1989 The whole family visited us in our Carrollton home for several summers. Con worked in the Kansas oil fields and was killed in an oil and gas explosion. The last time I saw Effie and Frances was in Macon in 1940 when I was teaching in the Jacksonville, Illinois High School. One time Frances and I were scuffling and I pushed her through a glass window in the parlor. John Luther settled in Iowa where he became a prosperous landowner and farmer. I understand that Effie and Con’s children are now dead., Principal=Con Techau13
