Note* Paul West: Delbert Wilbur Sloan was a very devout man. In addition to farming, he was a Holiness preacher. Every day without fail his family had Bible reading and prayer. I attended a number of their worship services. I remember Delbert Wilbur having a flock of very beautiful sheep.2
