| Note* | His father is on the 1820 census in Ohio in Meigs Co. He appears to have married and lived there until after 1856. It is told by family story that his last child, Samuel Allen was born in a covered wagon traveling to Scioto Co. in 1853. His wife Jane Kirk died in 1857 which leads me to belive she died of complications of childbirth with Freeman. He married Sarah Bodwell in Scioto Co., Ohio in July of 1858.1 | |
