Married Name Mendenhall
Birth*20 November 1690 East Caln, PA1
Marriage10 August 1709 States Susannah's parents were of Concord, PA., Principal=John Jr Mendenhall2,3
Marriage*10 October 1709 Concord, PA, Principal=John Jr Mendenhall1
Note*June 1715 Concord, Chester Co., PA, Cyrus M., the present depository of the original certificate from which this fac-simile was obtained, says, in one of his letters: ” You will notice that the body of the instrument is in the handwriting of the father of the bride (Thomas Pierson). He was the surveyor to Wm. Penn, and in the picture of the ‘ Elm Tree Treaty’ he is made by his grandson, Sir Benjamin West, the painter, to occupy a conspicuous place, standing Penn’s side, a tall man with a map in his hand. You will also notice signature of Sarnh Piorson (No. 25 on the fac-simile), sister of the bride, subsequently married to John West, and the Mother of Sir Benjamin West. She writes a poor hand for the mother of West-not so good as Rose, her sister's."

Susanneh Mendenhall (No. 58), is probably another sister of Rose, as Susannah Pierson married, in 1709, John Mendenhnll, a brother of the bridegroom, Aaron. From this it may be seen who were the husbands of the three daughters of Thomas Pierson.4
